The Press @ Midtown Quarter was awarded the Sacramento Business Journal’s 2020 Project of the Year award. Designed by C2K Architecture and built in partnership with DeBartolo Development, The Press @ Midtown Quarter is an architectural landmark and central destination in Sacramento’s emerging Midtown Quarter. This new five-story redevelopment initiative involved reimagining and redeveloping the former parking garage of the Sacramento Bee. It is the largest project ever approved for Midtown Sacramento. The underground garage parking remains to support mixed-use residential and retail, including 277 new residential units. On the ground floor, the Press Building will feature 8,600 square feet of new retail space. With convenient access to light rail and ample parking, the Press building infuses the historically low-key neighborhood with the new energy of an attractive and engaging community within a community.
