More than 150 muralists and street artists from all over the state of California participated in Wide Open Walls’ 2017 Street Art Mural Jam at The Sacramento Bee’s former parking garage. The site is now home to The Press @ Midtown Quarter, an architectural landmark and central destination in Sacramento’s emerging Midtown Quarter. The Press was developed by SKK Developments and DeBartolo Development, and designed by C2K Architecture. Although, the art created is no longer there, many will say it was more about the experience of being part of the Mural Jam than any final product.
